Program Description:
1-week Program: learning 40~50 practical sentences for situational conversation and experience a taste of Chinese culture through lectures, historical site trips and folklife experiences.
2-week Program: learning 100~120 practical sentences for situational conversation and experience a taste of Chinese culture through lectures, historical site trips and folklife experiences.
4-week Program: Basic Chinese language study together with a wide range of Chinese cultural experiences within the time specified.
4-month Program: Basic Chinese language study together with a wide range of Chinese cultural experience. Culture appreciation will also be introduced at the same time.
3-Year Program: Chinese language study together with culture experience and appreciation. This is a long term program for learners from elementary to advanced level. HSK training is an important part of it.
1+1 Program: Special program arranged as required
Note:
The on-campus courses for Chinese Study are usually started during the first week of March and September, the first month of the new semester for Spring and Fall, and students are expected to arrive at school within three days before the semester starts.
A timetable settled for each new semester is only for the general academic activities and a Replacement Test for new-registered students will be arranged accordingly. If a student need to choose a period of time other than the scheduled plan or a package designed for groups, he is suggested to follow up the general timetable and expected to choose at least 10 contact hours each week.
Concerning different needs from students, a package of five individual programs for Chinese Study is designed. The descriptions for each program are hereby listed above and the relevant teaching plans are in hereafter. If one of them is chosen, say at least 6 or more students involved with the same level, a specific timetable is to be matched therewith.

XAIU sits in the Xi’an High-tech Development Zone, about 8 kilometers from the town center. It will take 10 minutes by bus to entertainment & shopping centers and there are supermarkets nearby.
5、Scholarship
The university offers 3 kinds of scholarships, Full Scholarship, Half Scholarship, and Regular Scholarship. The full Scholarship allows students to continue their studies at XAIU for one term free of charge.
